LINCOLNSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
"I Do"....Two little words that mean so much when it comes to weddings. Being here, on this page, there's a pretty high chance that you're planning on saying them soon, so lets start by telling you what it is that "I do". - See what I did there?
I specialise in capturing special moments between people, photographs that tell a story, a little smile, a happy tear, a nervous breath... These are the images that will tell you a story when you look at them and that is my main aim with my wedding photography, to blend in with your day and tell it as it happens.
Im currently based in Boston Lincolnshire and cover weddings all over the UK, I mainly work with couples getting married in Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire, Norfolk, and Derbyshire but if your further a field please do not hesitate to ask - I love traveling somewhere new!

ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS
Engagement shoots are a relatively new thing in the world of wedding photography and I absolutely love them!
Its a very exciting time for a couple before they get married - Theres a bit of a buzz of anticipation about them and your obviously crazily in love too which always comes across so beautifully in the photographs.
One reason that I highly recommend having a 'pre-wedding' session before your big day is that it gives you a full insight into how I will be with you on your wedding day and people have often told me that its put them a little more at ease knowing what to expect.
Location wise Im happy to go wherever you would like! Ive had couples have engagement sessions on the beach, in a woodland, at a farm - Think about where your most favourite place is, or somewhere of sentimental significance to you as a couple and lets see if we can make it work for a photo session.
If you already have children or pets that you would like to involve in your engagement shoot feel free to bring them along with you ! The more the merrier! Heres a few favourites below!
POP THE QUESTION
Choosing a photographer for your special day can be a pretty daunting task, Making sure that you get the right one for you is essential and I'm always here should you have any questions or need any advice with your wedding planning.
Below are some of the main questions that I get asked as a wedding photographer, have a read though; if you still have questions just get in touch!
1) What is your shooting style?
No doubt you have alooked through a million different photographers online and have a pretty good idea what it is that you would like your images to look like. My style is very informal, I like to be in the background catching people being natural with minimal posing (apart from group shots). I LOVE colour, so as you will see throughout my portfolio colour, amazing surroundings and a beautiful light airy feel is how id describe my styling.
2) Do you shoot on film or digitally?
I Photograph fully digital, although my images are edited with a film like styling.
3) How many weddings do you photograph a year?
I limit my bookings to around 30 weddings per year, being a mum as well as a photographer this allows me to have the best of both worlds.
4) Can I see an example of a complete wedding album?
Of course! I love running through weddings with clients to show what I do. Not only can I show you full digital albums, when we meet I have lots of samples of the different photobooks and prints that are included in the packages for you to see.
5) May I contact previous customers for references?
I pride myself on client satisfaction and have plenty of reviews for people to read through on my Facebook page. If you would like to speak to previous clients just let me know and I can send you their contact information.
6) What wedding packages do you offer and what do they include?
Once I have discussed your requirements for the day with you I will provide you with a full breakdown of costs. All of my wedding photography quotations come with an online passworded album, a USB of edited images, full editing and printing rights as standard. I also offer engagement sessions and bridal boudoir.
7) Do you have insurance?
Of course, for my peace of mind as well as yours. I have full Public Liability and Indemnity insurance, both of which I am happy to provide copies of to venues that request it.
8) Have you taken photos at my wedding venue before? Would you be willing to visit the venue before the wedding day?
Very likely if its in the Lincolnshire area, but if not I always ensure that I visit the venue before hand, most of the time I meet clients at their venue a few months before their wedding day to walk around and find all the spots they love for their photographs on the day.
9) Do I need to cover your travel costs or is that included in the price?
Travel expenses are always included within your package price.
10) Will it be you photographing us on the wedding day? Do you plan on bringing assistants?
Depending on the package that you have opted for I usually shoot weddings alone unless a Second shooter is specified. I like to blend into the background of your day and often find that having numerous people scattered around all with cameras it can be distracting for you and your guests. Nobody needs the paparazzi!
11) Do you have any good back-up photographers you can call on should something happen to you?
Unless something disastrous has happened to me, I will be there. On the very rare chance that something happens I am surrounded by some amazing photographers who would step in if necessary. Should nobody be able to cover the wedding a full refund would be provided as per the contract.
12) Do you carry back-up equipment?
Yes, along with spare batteries, lenses, cards you name it. You can never be too prepared!
13) What do you usually wear to a wedding?
I tend to aim for Smart/Casual (with comfortable shoes)
14) When can I expect to see the finished wedding photographs?
I aim for wedding photographs to be ready for viewing within 5 weeks of your wedding. Sometimes during the busy season this can take a little longer but its rare that I would go over this time frame.
15) Will I get all of the photographs or just those selected by you? How many photographs can I expect?
I do not limit the amount of photographs that I provide for you like some photographers. All the images that I feel fully represent your day, clearly and professionally will be provided to you, with duplicates, blurs etc being removed. The amount of photographs I provide will purely be dependant on your day, how much is going on, the amount of time I'm with you etc.
16) Although you have the copyright, can I print my own photos from the wedding USB and can I put your photos on my blog?
YES! I love you to share your wedding images, it means that you love them as much as I do! The only thing I ask is that you give me a little mention if you do blog/share the images and do not sell them commercially ( not that anyone wants to sell their wedding images)
17) What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
One thing I've learnt over the years is to not worry about the good old english weather. I have photographed weddings in lighting storms through to blistering sunshine. Try not to concern yourself with things like that and simply go with it - some of my most popular images are taken during full on thunderstorms! If you dont fancy going outside under an umbrella I always have a plan B for group shots should we need it.
18) How do we book you?
If you've decided I'm the one for you I simply ask for £100 to secure your date. Once this has been received your wedding date is fully blanked out so nobody else can have it. Your remaining balance is then due 6 weeks before your wedding date.
19) Can we meet you before we decide to book?
This is something I fully recommend to all clients, I want to ensure that i'm right for you as well as know that I can provide everything you would want from your photographer. Get in touch; I make a pretty decent cuppa!
*Please note, due to a high number of enquiries I do not reserve any wedding dates without a deposit.
